Ordering Sofas From YEINIHOME: Quotes, Evidence, Warranty and Reorders

Before you place a sofa order with any factory, a few things should be settled in writing: what the photos do and don’t confirm, what the quote includes, how test reports apply, what the warranty covers, and how a reorder or spare part will be matched later. This guide lists the questions for each, and the order terms YEINIHOME has confirmed.

Finished sofas and colourful armchairs at our own factory

In short

  • YEINIHOME accepts orders from one piece per model; payment is a 50% deposit and 50% balance.
  • Confirm materials, services, test evidence and warranty in writing for the exact configuration.
  • Keep the approved sample, fabric code and order reference for reorders and spare parts.

What Product Photos Do and Don’t Confirm

A photo shows shape and design direction: arm profile, seams, base. It doesn’t show the frame, the fabric code or test performance. Save the page and image you’re referring to, mark the details you want, and state any changes (size, fabric) next to it rather than assuming the image updates the order.

Then match each question to the right evidence: a frame description by part for construction, a fabric code and physical sample for upholstery, a drawing for dimensions and module connections. The US Federal Trade Commission notes that objective advertising claims need supporting evidence, which is a useful line between an attractive picture and a documented fact.

Does the Quote Include On-Site Assembly?

Only if the quote says so. Break “assembly” into named tasks and give each an owner, or write “not included”:

  • Carrying packages from the delivery point to the room.
  • Unpacking and recording the condition on arrival.
  • Fitting legs and other supplied parts.
  • Connecting and positioning modules.
  • Removing packaging.

The shipping term doesn’t answer this. The International Trade Administration explains that Incoterms allocate transport tasks, costs and risks between buyer and seller; they don’t say who attaches the legs in an upstairs room. Record the Incoterm, its version and the named place, and list installation separately. If a local installer is used, give them the model’s assembly instructions and module references.

How to Check a Test Report

  • Sample: match the report’s model, dimensions and materials to your quotation, and list any changes since the tested sample.
  • Scope: a fabric test covers the fabric, not the frame, foam or finished sofa.
  • Method: get the full report, including method, edition and limitations, not a cropped “pass” page.
  • Issuer: ILAC distinguishes a laboratory’s accreditation certificate from its test reports. The European co-operation for Accreditation advises checking the accreditation mark and that the tests fall within the laboratory’s accredited scope, using the accreditation body’s official directory.

Have the person responsible for your project’s requirements decide whether the evidence is enough. If it can’t be matched, record what’s missing rather than treating a similar report as cover.

What to Confirm About the Warranty

Get the warranty in writing for your order: who provides it, which components and uses it covers, when it starts and how long it lasts, and how a claim works. The FTC’s warranty guidance suggests checking coverage, exclusions, remedies and whether labour or shipping costs are included.

  • Does it cover frame, seat support, foam, upholstery and hardware, and under what use (home, hotel, rental)?
  • Do custom sizes or fabrics change the terms?
  • Who assesses a claim, and who pays for collection, freight, labour or reinstallation?
  • What records are needed: order, invoice, delivery record, photos?

A warranty period is not a lifespan estimate. Get verbal promises in writing. Legal rights in your country may apply separately. If something is wrong on arrival, see what to record when a sofa arrives with a problem.

Matching Fabric Colour on a Reorder

The same fabric code doesn’t guarantee the same shade. Fabric mills note that shade can vary between dye batches within commercial tolerances; Camira states this on its Era product sheet, for example. For a reorder:

  • Send the original order reference, fabric code and colour, and the approval sample if you kept it.
  • Ask whether the new fabric is from the same batch, and for a sample of the proposed batch.
  • Compare it beside the existing sofa in the room’s lighting, and record the decision, date and which pieces it covers.

Say whether the new sofa will stand next to the old one or in another room; that changes how close the match needs to be. Ask separately about availability, price and timing. For colour viewing, see the sofa fabric guide.

Requesting a Spare Part

Identify the part before ordering it. Include:

  • The order reference and model or module code, with any custom dimensions.
  • The position, from a stated viewpoint (for example “left end, facing the sofa”), marked on the layout drawing.
  • Photos of the whole sofa, the area and any part label; whether it’s missing, damaged or a planned spare; quantity and destination.

Don’t fit a near match, drill new holes or use longer fasteners. Ask whether the part is the original specification or an alternative, the price, shipping and timing, and who should fit it.

What to Send With Your Enquiry

Send the model or reference images, quantity, intended use (home, hotel, rental), required dimensions and fabric, and the delivery destination, plus any project specification. List the questions above that matter to you, such as assembly, evidence or warranty, so the quotation can answer them in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is YEINIHOME’s minimum order?

One piece per model.

What are the payment terms?

A 50% deposit and 50% balance. When the balance is due is set in each order’s written terms.

Is the website photo the exact sofa I’ll receive?

Don’t assume so. Confirm the product reference, specification and fabric sample.

Does free delivery mean free assembly?

No. Only the written quote sets the included services.

Is a laboratory’s accreditation certificate a product certificate?

No. It covers the lab’s accredited activities. The product evidence is the test report and its scope.

Will ordering the same model give the same fabric shade?

Not automatically. Check a sample of the proposed batch against the existing sofa.
