Separate Sample Approval From Production Release

Sample production is available before a bulk order. Agree whether the review concerns a finish, construction detail or a complete furniture item, and record the sample against the relevant specification.

Keep corrections and accepted alternatives visible. Approving a sample does not by itself settle the final quantity, price, packing or transport scope; these need to match the confirmed order.

Sample fees can be credited against a confirmed production order. Confirm the credit conditions, eligible amount and any separate charges in the quotation.

Confirm What The Production Period Covers

Typical production takes 30–45 days to factory dispatch, excluding international transport. Confirm the starting point and the timing for your order, including drawing or sample approvals, quantity and construction complexity.

Keep factory dispatch, international transport and site handover as separate dates. Agree the packing list, receiving arrangements and any site handling or installation responsibilities for the selected delivery scope.

Record Changes Against The Approved Version

Use the item code and drawing or finish revision when proposing a change. Ask for the effect on quantity, price, sample work and timing to be recorded before approval.

Material, colour and dimensional checks form part of production review. Discuss any third-party inspection and the evidence required for your project before arranging the review.

Questions About Order Progress

Can I Enquire Before All Dimensions Are Approved?

Yes. Mark the missing or provisional details and identify the references available. A final quotation and production release need the agreed dimensions, materials, quantities and scope.

When Does Production Start?

Confirm the release conditions and starting point in the order documents. Drawing and sample approvals, commercial terms and other order-specific requirements need agreement before relying on a production date.

Is The Production Period A Delivery-To-Site Promise?

No. The production reference ends at factory dispatch and excludes international transport. Agree transport, receiving, site handling and any installation separately.

Can An Independent Inspector Review The Furniture?

Third-party inspection can be discussed. Agree the review scope, timing and required records against the approved furniture specification.
