A Two-Tone Modular Sofa: Confirming the Sample Layout

Cream and brown modular sofa with rounded upholstered sections and cylindrical back cushions

Sourcing Notes / Modular Seating

When evaluating this rounded modular sofa, begin with a labelled layout and a colour allocation for each section. A reference photograph can show the intended look, but the sample order also needs to identify which components are included and how they are meant to connect.

Identify Each Section Before Comparing Quotes

The photographed arrangement combines cream and brown upholstered sections, rounded edges and cylindrical back or arm elements. These visible features help identify the design. They do not establish that every section is interchangeable.

For an importer’s sample review, draw the proposed arrangement from above. Label the seat sections, end positions and any separate footstools. State the viewing direction when describing left-hand and right-hand pieces.

Ask for a component schedule showing the dimensions and quantity of each item. Confirm which layouts are supported by the actual product construction and whether joining hardware is required. Keep the drawing with the quotation so the sample scope is clear.

Keep the Layout and Upholstery Choices Together

Send YEINIHOME the reference photograph with a marked-up layout and the destination city. If proposing a different colour arrangement, identify the colour for each labelled section rather than describing the whole order simply as a two-tone sofa.

Request upholstery references for the proposed combination. The cream-and-brown and grey-and-neutral photographs illustrate different appearances; they do not establish that the materials share the same composition, care requirements or price.

Confirm the seat and back-cushion specification for the sample as well. Rounded upholstery and tufting are visible in the photographs, while filling, support construction and seating feel need separate product information or physical evaluation.

Test Assembly as Well as Appearance

On receipt, lay out the pieces against the approved drawing before assessing the overall appearance. Check that the delivered components, upholstery references and accessories match the sample record.

If connectors are part of the selected configuration, follow the supplied assembly instructions and inspect the joined arrangement. Ask about unexplained gaps or movement; do not assume that a photographic arrangement proves a connection method.

Record unpacking and handling observations too. Confirm how the sections are packed and labelled, and whether the packing information identifies the pieces needed to assemble the intended layout. This makes the sample review useful for planning later handling and installation.

A revised layout should have its own updated drawing and component schedule. Keep it linked to the sample record before discussing a repeat order.
