Compare Hotel Furniture Quotes By Room And Package

In short: Compare hotel furniture quotes by room type and scope. Use the same room mix before comparing average furniture cost per room.

A hotel furniture quotation needs to explain what is included in each room type and public area. Compare the same package, approval stage and delivery scope before deciding which proposal fits the project.

Build One Comparison Schedule

Create a master schedule with separate sections for standard rooms, suites, lobby seating, dining areas and other furnished spaces. Give each item a reference and record its quantity within each room type. Ask every supplier to quote against that schedule. Keep optional pieces outside the base package so a fuller proposal is not mistaken for a more expensive version of exactly the same scope.

Check The Boundaries Of Each Offer

Record whether the offer covers loose furniture only or also includes fitted work, lighting, mattresses, assembly and installation. Name the party responsible for each interface. A guest-room desk may depend on a wall fixing or electrical position; a reception counter may belong to the fit-out contractor. Put exclusions beside the related item, where the project team will see them.

Compare The Approval Basis

A quotation based on a moodboard is different from one based on approved drawings and samples. Record which dimensions, materials and finishes are fixed and which remain proposals. Ask the supplier to identify substitutions clearly. If one offer assumes a different tabletop or upholstery, resolve that difference before comparing the line totals. The visual impression of a room does not define its construction.

Review Delivery As A Project Sequence

Separate sample work, production, packing, transport, site handling and installation in the comparison. Ask which assumptions depend on approvals or site readiness. For a phased hotel opening, identify the rooms needed in each release and the storage arrangements for later areas. Keep unanswered questions in a comparison log and close them before recording a purchasing decision.

Weight the comparison by the actual room mix

An average of two room-package prices can hide the cost of the proposed hotel. Multiply each confirmed package price by the number of rooms using it before calculating an average cost per room.

In a hypothetical hotel with eighteen standard rooms and two suites, offer A prices the furniture at USD 1,000 per standard room and USD 3,000 per suite. Its room-furniture total is USD 24,000. Offer B prices them at USD 1,100 and USD 2,900, producing USD 25,600. A simple average of the two package prices is USD 2,000 in both offers, yet the actual room mix gives different totals.

The weighted amounts are USD 1,200 and USD 1,280 per room. These invented figures demonstrate a comparison method; they are not YEINIHOME prices or a hotel budget benchmark. They exclude public areas and services unless those items are explicitly included in the stated package prices.

Keep room averages attached to their scope

Check that both proposals include the same furniture in each room type. Show public-area furniture and other separately quoted costs beside the room subtotal. If you later spread those costs across the rooms for budgeting, label the resulting average differently from the guest-room furniture price.

APM: change control supports reviewing the effects of an approved scope change. When the room mix changes, send YEINIHOME (言逸家) the revised counts with the hotel furniture schedule and recalculate both offers against that version.

Questions Before You Order

Should I Compare the Total Price First?

Compare the included rooms, quantities and services first. A total only becomes useful once the differences in scope are identified.

How Should Optional Upgrades Be Quoted?

Keep each upgrade outside the base package, with its item code and price difference. Approve it separately so it cannot change the comparison unnoticed.

Is the average of standard-room and suite prices a useful hotel-wide cost?

Only if their quantities are equal and the scope is comparable. Otherwise multiply each room-type price by its room count, total the amounts and divide by the relevant room count.
